Haley Mai Spranger is a filmmaker, cinematographer, and photographer based in New York City.
She is passionate about analog aspects of image creation, story-driven visual choices, experimentation, and alternative processes. She loves to shoot on film (in any format) and capture women, queer, and AAPI-centered stories.
She is a recipient of the 2025 ARRI Volker Bahnnemann Award for achievement in cinematography and the NYU Faculty Commendation Award for Cinematography.
